On Wednesday, October 29, 2008 God needed another rose for His garden and he picked Dora Pansy Centers, age 84, of Arthur, TN. She passed away at Claiborne County Hospital, Tazewell, TN.

She was born March 1, 1924 to the late Sterling and Rhoda Miller Wylie.

She accepted the Lord in her younger years and was a member of Summey's Bridge Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Centers, May 20, 1966. Infant brother and sister, Warner and Thelma Wylie; 4 brothers, Roscoe Wylie, Everette 'Dommer' Wylie, Walter Wylie, and Hugh 'Pete' Wylie.

She retired after 35 years at Imperial Reading Textiles in LaFollette, TN. She loved cooking, reading, quilting and gardening. She greeted you to her home with a smile, that sweet smile will be missed. She was a beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Reece Valley Chapel with Rev. Clay Harrell and Rev. Randy Phelps officiating.

Music by Summey's Bridge Choir.

Graveside service 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the Kibert Cemetery.

Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers, Robert Carman and Harry Campbell.
