Donna Kay Smith

Donna Kay Taylor Smith, 51 of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at the Pineville Community Health Center. She was born in Pineville on July 17, 1970, a daughter of the late Herman and Willa Jean Ridley Taylor. She was a member of the Arjay Baptist Church and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Taylor and a sister, Joyce Taylor DeMint. Donna is survived by her sons, Jonathan Taylor and girlfriend, Karla Collins and Jerry Wayne Smith; her significant other of many years, Ray Brock; brothers and sister, Jerry Taylor and wife, Carol, Linda Taylor and David Taylor and wife, Lisa; her dog, Bear and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. James Polly and Rev. Russell Murphy presiding. Music will be by Russell Murphy and Custer Watts. She will be laid to rest at Himyar Cemetery in Artemus. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Taylor Smith Family.
