Donald Ray Sanders, 69, passed on Thursday, April 21, 2016. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who enjoyed having his family around. Preceded in death by his parents, Joey and Edith Bennett Sanders, brothers, Bruce and Rev. H. David Sanders, brothers-in-law, Howard Baker, RL Smith and Terry Nelson. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Sanders, daughters, Donna and Danny Miracle, Tammy and Donald Miracle and Gwendolyn Sanders, grandchildren, Jessica Robertson (Shaun), Jake Miracle (Dorothy), Jared Miracle, Emily Mullins, Amber Mullins, Chandler Miracle, Jasmine Miracle, Hailey Mullins, Nicolas Mullins, great-grandchildren, Matthew Roberson and Camryn Miracle, brothers and sisters, Betty Baker, Dollie (Harold) Onkst, Joey Jr. (Barbara) Sanders, Delores Smith, Marion (Cherie) Sanders, Roger (Tootie) Sanders, Mary Lou Nelson and Jerry Sanders, a host nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Services will be at 1:00 PM Sunday, at Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Sanders and Rev. A.Y. Mills. Following services, at the request of Mr. Sanders, he will be cremated by the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville. The family will receive friends Sunday from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Sanders family.
