Donald Ray "Dobbs" Napier Jr.

Donald "Dobbs" Ray Napier, Jr., of Pineville, Kentucky, died August 18, 2018 at UK Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born April 10, 1960, to Linda Kilgore and Donald Ray Napier, Sr.. Dobbs was a coal miner and beloved father, grandfather, son, grandson, uncle, and friend to all that knew him. Dobbs is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deborah Robbins Napier, paternal grandparents Henry and Elizabeth Napier, and maternal grandfather Everette Kilgore, Sr. He leaves behind an extended grieving family, mother Linda Collins, Trenton, Michigan, father Donald Ray Napier, Sr. (Kettle Island, Kentucky, grandmother Edna Kilgore, three daughters, Brittany (Joey) Napier-Hill, Corbin, Kentucky, Megan (Cody) Napier-Smith, Corbin, Kentucky, Kindall (Nate) Mason, Van West, Ohio, two sons, Donavan Napier, Pineville, Kentucky, William Clinton Napier, Pineville, Kentucky, brother David Napier, Kettle Island, Kentucky, sisters Tamera K. Pardee, Kettle Island, Kentucky, Lisa (Brian) Hayes, Prestonsburg, Kentucky, eight grandchildren, Myki Crawford, Dominick Hill, Kamira Hill, Chase Brock, Memory Hill, Camryn Smith, Carson Smith, and Maverick Smith, all of Corbin, Kentucky, nieces Amanda Asher and Allison Teague, nephews, William Pardee, David Scott Hendrickson, Dustin Napier, Nickolos Beverly, Vincent Hayes, and Evan Hayes, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends. Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on August 22, 2018 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home. A memorial service to be held 7:00 p.m., Paul Napier will be officiating.
