Donald Ray Mason

Donald Ray Mason, 84 of Pineville passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Barbourville ARH Hospital. He was born in Pineville on November 14, 1933 and was the son of the late Benjamin and Rosa Maines Mason. He was a believer of the Baptist faith and had retired from many years working in construction. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Sturgill, Jean Smith, Myrtle Teague, Mary Griffin, Ruby Lasley, and brother, Arthur Lee Mason. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Della Robbins Mason; son, Donnie Mason and wife, Dianna; daughter, Sandra Drennen; grandchildren, Timothy Darrell Green and Jeremy Scott Green; brother, Junior Ray Mason; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 3, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Millard Danny Robbins. Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning from 11AM until funeral hour at 1PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to be serving the Mason family.
