Donald Lefevers

Donald Dean Lefevers, born June 10, 1937 received his wings on December 24, 2018. Donald was born to Henry and Virgie Lefevers, he was the youngest of three sons. His Parents and both brothers preceded him in death. Donald lost his mother at a young age of 10. In 1956 he asked Mr. Henry Widener if he could allow him to marry his daughter Anna Marie and he said yes with this union he had 3 sons Donald Dean Jr, Randal Dewayne and (Timothy Denson who preceded him in death in 1979) and the apple of his eye Dianna Dee his daughter. A young Donald moved to Detroit in 1958 with his wife and 2 sons and took a job with Lincoln brass company he worked there for 10 years. With the addition of another son and a daughter more money was required and he took a new job with Gateway TRANSPORTATION Dock Foreman until retirement in the 80's. Donald enjoyed his life with fishing, hunting and sports and his grand children, Virginia Lea (Ben) Timothy Glen (Jennifer) John Jay, Robert John III (Josh), Ariell Lauren and 4 great grand children (Jordan Anthony preceded in death) John Jay Jr (JC), Timothy Glen Jr. (TJ), Amelia. Extended grandkids Lindsay and McKenzie. He was just a simple country boy who enjoyed White Castle Hamburger's and A & W root beer. He lived his last few years with his daughter and Eddie who he loved, he (Eddie) provided him with care as if he was his own father (In Taylor Michigan) He lived and made anyone around him happy with his jokes and smart mouth if you knew him you loved him may he rest in peace as an eagle. Services will be Tuesday, January 1, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Pineville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 1 from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Lefevers Family.
