Donald R. Baker, 74, of Sadieville, KY passed away on Friday at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born in Flat Lick, KY on February 14, 1942, a son of the late Clarence and Edna Baker. He had been a loader operator for a rock quarry. Survivors are wife, Marjorie Baker of Sadieville, Ky, a sister-in-law, Beulah Baker (late brother, Gorman Baker), Georgetown, KY, the late Glen Baker, Flat lick, KY, 2 sisters, Sue Bussell, Georgetown, KY, Pansy (Larry) Smith, Stinking Creek, KY, brother Shirl Gray, Flatlick, KY, 11 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, 4 step children, Bart Baker, Lexington, KY, Diana, (Brian) Nesselrode, Versailles, KY, Steve, (Lisa) Baker, Lawrenceburg, KY, Vickie Baker, Sadieville, KY, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Services will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gary Cochran . Burial will be in the Sandy Branch Cemetery at Flat Lick with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Baker Family.
