Dolly Phelps

Dolly Ruth Phelps, 82, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the Pineville Community Hospital. Born in Pineville on May 7, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rosa Simpson Elliott. She had been a waitress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Lee Gambrel and a ten brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Shelia and Joel Murphy, grandchildren, Doris Lynn Hensley, David Gambrel and Penny Elliott; five great-grandchildren, nephews, Charles Price and Jackie Helton and a host of other relatives and friends.
