Dianne Belcher

December 9, 1946 — November 14, 2017

Dianne Krzeminska Belcher, RN, BSN, MSN, 70, of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at her home on Straight Creek. She was born in Dachau, Germany on December 9, 1946, and was a daughter of the late Jozef and Helena Krzeminski, whom were both survivors of Dachau's Concentration Camp. Dianne received her Master's in nursing from Bellarmine University, where she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Dianne truly enjoyed nursing, and eventually became a professor for Lincoln Memorial University's, Southeast Community College's and Eastern Kentucky University's schools of nursing, until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a very special aunt, Irena Zawistowka of Zareby Koscielne, Poland. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Matt Belcher, Jr.; children, Matthew J. Belcher and wife, Mawnie, Mark Belcher, and Charlotte Welch and husband, Tray; grandchildren, Matthew and Justin Belcher, Holly and Hannah Belcher, and Whitney, Sarah and Laura Welch; brother, George Krzeminski; nieces, Liza Jeffries and Anya Wright; nephew, Eric Krzeminski; a host of many relatives in Poland, and several friends. Dianne loved all of her family very much and enjoyed others in their times of need. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs of Hospice of the Blue Grass and Taylor's Pharmacy, Dr. Steven K. Morgan and Dr. Cary Twyman; and extends special appreciation and gratitude to the members of Laurel Hill Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be Friday, November 17, at 2:00 PM at the Laurel Hill Pentecostal Church with Rev. Hubert Baker and Rev. Danny Daniels. Music will be by Henry Dutton and  the Laurel Hill Pentecostal Church members. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery at Bledsoe with Clark Susong, John Carpenter, Greg Conn and Ricky Daniels serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday after 5:00 PM at the Laurel Hill Pentecostal Church. The Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville is honored to be serving the Belcher family. Visitation
