Diane Lee Gambrel

Diane Lee Gambrel, 70 of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the Barbourville Health and Rehab Center. She was born on March 21, 1953, a daughter of the late, Charles F. and Goldie Jones Lee. She had worked at Pic Pac as a cashier for many years and was a housewife and mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles F. “Buddy” Lee, Jr.

Diane is survived by her husband of 54 years, Virgil Gambrel; sons and their wives, Virgil Wayne and Margaret Gambrel and Gregory Dale and Denise Gambrel; grandchildren, James Cody Gambrel, Chase Gambrel, Savanna Gambrel and Hanna Gambrel; great-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Helen Marie and Johnny Sproles, Harold Dean Lee, Randall Gene Lee, Gary, Lee and Arnold Lee and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Re. Paul Wayne Goodin. Burial will be in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, Pineville. Pallbearers will be Stacy Johnson, Steven Centers, Cody Gambrel, Chase Gambrel, Oscar Volopaz and Jonathan Lee.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center is honored to serve the Gambrel Family.
