Diana Smith Knuckles, 72 of Arjay, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022 in Barbourville. She was born in Pineville on April 4, 1949, a daughter of Jasper N. and Loretta Woodward Smith. Diana cared about people and always worried about everyone else. She had been a cook for Arjay School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Knuckles; and brother, Douglas Smith. Diana is survived by her daughter, Lisa Smith; son, Frank Knuckles Jr.; grandchild, Ashley Nicole Wilson and her husband, Matthew; great-grandchild, Matthew Hunter Wilson; siblings, Anthony Smith, Jeanette Pannell Crigger and her husband, Steve, Vivian Lasley and her husband, Greg, and Jasper Smith, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Terry D. Pannell, Jessica Tuttle, Keishia Landsaw, and Stephan Lasley; great-nieces and nephews, Harlie Pannell, Callie Pannell, Peyton Hartman, Tacker Hartman, Brella Lansaw, and Judson Pannell; boyfriend, Dave Price; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the Arjay Community Pentecostal Church with Rev. Randall Beverly and Rev. Gary Wagner presiding. Music will be provided by Stephan Lasley and Emma Price. Burial will follow at the Pineville Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Wilson, Hunter Wilson, Larry Smith, Terry Pannell, Lonnie Wilson, Quinn Hobbs, Mark Beverly, and Caleb Beverly. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until the funeral hour on Thursday at the Arjay Community Pentecostal Church.
