Dennis R. Ayers, Age 71, of Harrogate, Tn went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2012 at Tri State Rehab due to illness. Born May 31, 1940 he pastured a Full Gospel Mission Church in Salem Virginia. He serviced in the Armed Services from 1961-1965.

Dennis served the Lord for many years. He served his country by enlisting in the Army. He served his state by working for the commonwealth of Virginia for 30 years and retiring.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Jim and Laura Ayers. Sisters: Maxine Daniels, Edith Sandifer, Margaret Stone, Virginia Warf, and Betty Gibson. Brothers: Joe Ayers, Syllis Ayers, and Bill Ayers. 4 nephews and 2 nieces.

Surviving Family members sisters: Jean Brooks and husband Billy Brooks of Ewing,Va. Judy Cox and husband Eddie Cox of Salem,Va. Brother: Walter Ayers and wife Agnes of Ewing, Va. Benny Ayers of Live Oak, Florida. Former wife: Francine B. Daniels. Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Family will receive friends Tuesday March 6, 2012 from 6-8:00pm

Funeral Service will be Tuesday 8:00pm following the visitation.

Burial will be Wednesday March 7 at 11:00am at Mountainview Cemetery.

Pastor Claude West will conduct the services.
