Denice Maria Hoffeditz

Denice Maria Hoffeditz, 57 of Harrogate, passed away on Saturday, January 14,2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born in Benham, KY on May 3, 1959 a daughter to John Neverstitch and the late Mary Sowders-Neverstitch. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Middlesboro. Denice devoted her life as a Special Education Teacher at Middlesboro High School for 18 of her 23 years of teaching. i Her kind and loving spirit will live on through her husband,and best friend of 30 years, Daniel Lee Hoffeditz; beloved children, Nathaniel Lee Hoffeditz, Austin Lee Blake Hoffeditz, Danielle Joy-Marie Hoffeditz, and step-daughter, Christina Lee Hoffeditz-Oehler (Bryan). Grandchildren, Ryker and Easton Oehler; sister Lisa (Paul) DeStefano; and brother Matt (Kim) Neverstitch; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and precious friends, students and coworker's who were just the same as family. Memorial services will be at 6:00 PM at the Middlesboro Central Auditorium with Dr. Phil Majors officiating. Music will be by the Middlesboro High School Choir and Todd Spangler. A Gathering of Friends will be held Thursday from 3:00 PM until the Service hour at the Middlesboro Central Auditorium. Donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 404 BNA Dr Ste 102, Nashville, TN 37217 Following Denice's wishes, she will be cremated at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Hoffeditz family.
