Delphia Beverly

Delphia Jones Beverly, 76, of Arjay, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Arjay on March 9, 1941, a daughter of the late Mack and Verna Mahan Jones. She had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Beverly; son, Melvin Beverly, brothers, Walter and Charles Jones and sister, Helen Powers. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Sandra and Adron Wilson, Marvin and Dianna Beverly, Sheila and Tim Lewis and Mark Beverly; daughter-in-law, Gearldine Beverly; fourteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Floyd Jones; sister, Glenda Bennett and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Arjay Pentecostal Church with Rev. Gary Wagner and Rev. James Roark. Music will be by Julie Wagner, James and Lisa Roark. Burial will be in the Beverly Cemetery at Arjay with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 5 PM Thursday and all day Friday at the Arjay Pentecostal Church.
