Dellene Saylor Brock

Dellene Saylor Brock, 62, of Carlisle, Kentucky, formerly of Stoney Fork, departed this life on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Dellene was born on October 25, 1962, in Beverly, Kentucky to the late Denver and Mary Jane Honeycutt Saylor. She had worked at and later became a manager of McDonald’s, where she worked for over thirty-five years. Dellene touched many lives and was loved by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, her husband, Burley Brock, stepchildren, Tina Janelle Brock and John Kevin Brock, sister, Brenda Faye Brock, and brother-in-law Kenneth Brock.

She is survived by; daughter, Amanda Brock (James Dykes), stepdaughters, Tonya Jackson and Marissa (Brandon) Joseph, granddaughter, Calleen Dykes, grandsons, Toby Joeseph, whom she was raising, and Zachriah Jackson, brother-n-law, Earl Dean Brock, sister, Susie (Neal) Brock, and brother Tommy Saylor. Dellene had many nieces, nephews, family and friends whom she loved very much.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Arnett and Steele Funeral Home in Pineville on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Demus Couch and Rev. Jordan Lee Saylor officiating, music will be provided by the ministers and the church family. Burial will follow at the Brock Family Cemetery in Stoney Fork. The family will receive friends at the Arnett and Steele Funeral Home in Pineville on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
