Debra Heck Roberts, 52, a project manager for PBS&J, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, in Tallahassee. She is survived by her husband of seven years, Dwayne Roberts of Crawfordville.

The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Friday, April 18, 2008, at St. Marks First Baptist Church in St. Marks, with burial in Tennessee.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service time Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308. Harvey-Young Funeral Home (850-926-3333) is handling arrangements.

She was born in Myrtle Point, Oregon, and had been a resident of Crawfordville since 1973. She was a member of River of Life Church. She loved her family, fishing, gardening and cooking.

She is survived by a

son, Shawn Brown of Crawfordville;

a daughter, Bettina Brown of Crawfordville;

three stepdaughters, Kristen Roberts of Belleview, Fla.,

Amanda Roberts of Statesville, N.C., and

Rebecca Roberts of Tallahassee;

a brother, Greg Heck of Speedwell, Tenn.;

a sister, Brenda Venable of Tazewell, Tenn.;

her parents, Dorwood and Peggy Heck of Lafollette, Tenn.;

two grandchildren, Dewayne Reynolds Jr. of Crawfordville and Dylan Allen Uptain of Statesville, N.C.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Lambert.

Visitation in Harrogate at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel - Monday, April 21st from 6-8 pm. Burial in The Loy Cemetery. Graveside service 11 am Tuesday.
