David Jackson Swallows

David Jackson Swallows, 75, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015 at his home in English, IN. He was born in Russellville, KY on February 6, 1940 to the late Fred and Katheleen Utley Swallows. David was saved at the Riverside Baptist Church in 2004. He served in the US Marines and had been a fieman for Seagrams Distilleries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and brother, Helen Dyer and James Swallows. Survivors include his wife of 44 wonderful years, Ruby Brock Swallows; children, Marilynn Asher and Harold Asher; grandchildren, Brittany Asher Chapman and husband, Alonzo; Amber Lynn Asher; Tallya Tackett; Kitana Tackett and Draven Tackett; brother and sisters, Dorothy Mudd, Debbie Durbin, Ralph Swallows and Ronald Swallow and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Ward; Music will be by Opal, Lloyd Ray and Della Mae Asher. Burial will be in the Mudlick Cemetery at Beverly, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Swallows family.
