David Partin

David Allen Partin, 49, of Pineville, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 as the result of a mining accident in Smith, Kentucky. He was born in Lima, Ohio on November 25, 1961 a son of Truman Lee Partin and the late Helen Joyce Hurst Partin. David Believed in the Baptist faith and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked for Manalapan Mining Company as a miner operator and a roof bolter. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Lisa Gail Webb Partin of Pineville; daughter, Julia Meredith Partin and step-son, Matthew J. Russell, both of Pineville; granddaughter, Samantha Elizabeth Russell; father, Rev. Truman Lee Partin of Pineville; brother, Terry Lee Partin of Pineville; nephew, Jonathan Colby Partin of Tuscaloosa, AL; mother-in-law, Lavonna A. Webb and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
