David Alan Mason

David Alan Mason, 38, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at his home in Arjay. He was born in Middlesboro, on August 10, 1976, and was a son of Mary Mason Cox and David Cox. David had worked for Phillips Tree Experts and Townsend Company clearing power line right-of-ways for Kentucky Utilities. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jeff and Verda Mason and Lola Patterson Cox. He is survived by his children, Jonathan Golden Cox Mason and Jessica Ann Mason of Arjay; parents, Mary Mason Cox and David Cox of Arjay; brothers and sister, Derek DeWayne Cox, Christopher Lee Cox and Cheryle Beueing; grandfather, Paul Cox of Arjay and a host of other relatives and friends. Private cremation services will be held at the Arnett & Steele Cremation Center in Pineville. David's family plans to host a gathering in his memory at the Newtown Baptist Church from 1 until 5 PM on Sunday.
