David Earl Halcomb, 70 of Rawlins, Wyoming, passed away on August 4, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City, Tennessee. He was born in Miracle, Kentucky on February 1, 1951, a son of the late Earl and Frances Hoskins Halcomb. David was a believer in the Baptist Faith and had been a Drag Line Operator in the Surface Mining of coal. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Deanna Coop and brother, Gary Wendel Halcomb. David is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Connie Jean Wilder Halcomb; son, Brian Halcomb; daughter, Shana Hodgins; grandchildren, Anthony Halcomb, Ashlyn Halcomb, Landon Halcomb, Hayley Bouman, Monica Gonzalez, Hailey Macintosh, and Madison Hodgins; great-grandchildren, Lilliann Wieburg, Marcel Herman, and NJ Rimmer; sisters, Janice Brock and Sheila Britten; brother, Eddie Halcomb; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. David Miracle presiding. Burial will follow at the Balkan Cemetery in Balkan. Pallbearers will be Brian Halcomb, Landon Halcomb, Bill Allen, Jody Brock, Shaun Wilder, JD Brock, and Eddie Halcomb. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Halcomb Family.
