David Bo Bush

David “Bo” Bush, 68, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, October 4, 2025. He passed peacefully at his home. Bo was born on September 3, 1957, in Pineville, Kentucky. He was the son of Donnie and Jeanette Bush who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his only brother, Mike Bush.

Bo surviving family who loved him dearly and will greatly miss him include his wife of 32 years, Sharan Lovell Bush; his son, David Kyle “Kiley” Bush; grandson, Kiley Braden Bush (Yasmine Schuler); granddaughter, Lana Aileen Taylon Bush; niece, Annie Cloud; nephew, Kevin Cloud; and a host of extended family and friends.

Bo was a dedicated employee of the State of Kentucky at the Middlesboro Boy’s Group Home for over 30 years. He also spent many years working at the Pineville Pawn Shop where he made many friends.

He proudly served the city that he loved as a member of the City Council. He also served as a Bell County Magistrate.

Bo accepted Christ as his Savior later in his life and he loved telling everyone about having God in his heart and how he was a changed man.

Funeral serves will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Mr. John Combs, Pastor Ron Suntkin and Rev. Clayton Barton presiding. Honorary pallbearers will be John Combs, Chris Cloud, Dr. Nick Fugate, Dr. Shawn Fugate, Shawn Fugate, III, Robert Roan, Jay Skinner, Colby Slusher, John Slusher, Tony Tigue, and Robert Valentine.

The family would like to thank the nurses of Amedisys Health Care of Middlesboro for their kindness during the last year with Bo’s wound care.
