Darrell Anthony Saylor Sr.

Darrell Anthony Saylor, Sr.. 62 of Pineville, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Pineville. He was born on December 2, 1954, a son of the late Giles and Florence Saylor. Darrell was of the Pentecostal faith and had been a utility construction worker. In addition to his parents , he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Saylor, sisters, Pauline Salah, Della Gambrel and Cynthia Ann Saylor. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Unia Faye Miracle Saylor, his children, Darrell and Ashley Saylor, Emanuel Blake and Whitney Saylor and Tony Joe and Crystal Saylor, grandchildren, Cara, Camber, Marcus, Hannah, Joel, Aiden, Chloe, Kobe and Addilee, and great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Giles Saylor, Jr., Grant William Saylor, Ruby Boshears, Kathleen Saylor and Mallie Sue Roark and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Church of God of True Believers at Calvin with Rev. Jeremy Sanders. Music will be by Mickey Wilder, James Roark and church singers. Burial will follow at Saylor Cemetery at Brock Hollow with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday after 12 noon until funeral hour at the Church of God of True Believers.
