Daniel Lemarr

November 5, 1922 — July 3, 2011

Daniel Milton LeMarr, 88 of Tugglesville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at the University of Tennessee medical Center, Knoxville. He was born in Bell County on November 5, 1922 a son of the late Jack and Sallie Middleton LeMarr. He had been a member and Deacon of Community Harvest Tabernacle and thought the world of Rev. David Rice. Daniel LeMarr had worked as a coal miner for 58 years and had served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and loved gardening very much, always giving away his produce to family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Ida Belle Gambrel LeMarr; brothers and sisters, Myrtle Cox, Cecil LeMarr, Creed LeMarr, Reese LeMarr and Dave LeMarr. Survivors include his children, Donald LeMarr and wife, Glenda; Diana Paul and husband, Norman; Lisa Lee and Michelle Howard; grandchildren, Donna Jenkins, Trent LeMarr, Gary Lee, Jr., Daniel Howard, Brooke Howard, Savonna Howard, Kyle Lee and Casey Lee; great-great-grandchildren, Ashley and Aaron Jenkins; sisters, Mary Taylor and Alberta Hardy, very special niece and nephew, Carolyn and Elwood Robbins and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
