Dan Welch

Dan Welch, age 80, of Speedwell, Tn. passed away June 12, 2013 at Claiborne County Nursing Home. He is preceded in death by his parents: Lawrance and Viola (Shiflet) Welch, Son: Jeffrey Scott Welch, and Brother: Randall Welch.

Dan spent 20 years in the United States Air Force and retired in 1973.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Shirley Frances Welch, Stepsons: Jimmy (Laura) Woods of South Carolina, Tony (Janet) Woods of Johnson City, Tn. Stepdaughters: Lisa Hall of Tazewell, Tn. and Rhonda Pennycuff Trent (Jonathon Green) Sneedville,Tn. Granddaughters: Misty Dawn Welch Hensley and Stormy Mae Welch. Step Granddaughters: Lauren and Lindsey Hall, Natasha and Kendall Trent and Hannah Woods. Step Grandsons: Jason and Adam Woods. Great Grandson: Parker Hensley. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and good friend Roger Hall..

Brothers: Bruce (Eunice) Welch of Morristown, Tn. Larry (Wanda) Welch of Speedwell, Tn. and Stanley Harold( Maxine) Welch of Speedwell, Tn. Sisters: Alma (Homer) Collette of Lafollette, Tn. and Wilma Sumpter of Speedwell, Tn.

Visitation will be Saturday June 15, 2013 from 10:00-12:00 at Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Saturday at 12:00pm following the visitation.

Burial will be Saturday following the funeral service in the Welch Cemetery in Speedwell,Tn.
