Curtis Lee Brock

Curtis Lee Brock, 70 of Stoney Fork, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at his home. He was born in Pineville on March 14, 1947, the son of Matt and Nettie Helton Brock. Curtis had retired from working with the Carpenters Local 2 Union in and around Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Floyd Brock, Ray Brock, Jewell Couch, Eda Gearheart and Hazel Valentine. Survivors include his children, Curtis Edward Brock, Sheila Jean Pittman and Marcus Wayne Luke; grandchildren, Johnathon Luke, Lonnie W. Pittman, Jr., Sheilelah M. Pittman, Curtis Paul Brock, Mathew Wayne Luke and Noah Adam Luke; brother and sisters, Fred Brock, Sonny Brock, Charles Brock, Louise Miller and Jean Linton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 25 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Chapel Pentecostal Church at Mill Creek with Rev. Mike Welch. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery by Curtis' home with Curtis E. Brock, Marcus W. Luke, Lonnie W. Pittman, Jr., Sheilelah M. Pittman, Johnathon Luke, Matt Luke and Noah Luke serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 until 9 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to be serving the Brock family.
