Crockett Brummett

Crockett Brummett, 85, of Williamsburg, Kentucky, formerly of Arjay, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at his residence. He was born on December 18, 1929 to the late Rufus and Martha Brummett. He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Wayne Brummett and his grandson, Michael Brummett. He was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers, William, John, Jesse, Joe and Millard Brummett and sisters, Mae Reeder and Ethel Lawson. He is survived by his wife, of almost 65 years (on May 31 st), Georgia Brummett, his son Terry and wife Carolyn and his daughter Debbie Childress and husband, Lannie, all of Williamsburg. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Cindy Brummett of Hillsboro Ohio and his brother, Harold and wife, Louise of Sardinia, Ohio. He was blessed with eleven (11) grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Services will be Sunday, May 10, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Scott. Burial will be at Pinelawn Memorial Gardens with Keith Childress, Kenny Childress, Steven Brummett, Justin Tipton, Stoney Tipton and Cole Browning serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Sunday 9 until 12 Noon at Arnett & Steel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Brummett Family.
