Creed Fulton Eldridge

Creed Fulton Eldridge, 76, of Harrogate, Tennessee, passed away at his home on Monday, July 24, 2023. He was born in Calvin, Kentucky on July 8, 1947, a son of the late Hobert Fulton and Donnie Lee “Dot” Pursifull Eldridge. Creed was a believer in the Baptist Faith and had been a retired metal fabricator at Kanawha Steel. He continued to work at the Woodshop in Middlesboro as a carpenter with his brother and nephew. He was an avid fisherman, loved the outdoors, playing bingo, watching western movies and taking care of his chickens. His greatest love was his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Tracy Eldridge; sister-in-law, Machiko Eldridge; sister, Dawn Miracle and brother-in-law, Bob Miracle; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas Bronel and Mary Ellen Wilson; sister-in-law, Vera “Tootie” Wilson; and brothers-in-law, David Leon Wilson and Jerry Hoskins.

Creed is survived by his wife, Goldie (Smith) Eldridge; daughters, Angela Eldridge (David Gambrel) and Tracy Eldridge (John Osborne); loved as a daughter, Sheryl (Robbie) Partin; brother, Dale (Betty) Eldridge; sister, Beth Gambrel; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Thomas Neal (Sandra) Wilson, Pam (Clyde) Wells, Kathy Hoskins, Tommie Sue (David) Watkins, and Lynn Wilson; grandchildren, Jacob T. ( Kayla) Saylor, Asia D. Kyle-Eldridge, Thomas E. (Danae) Saylor, and Alivia J. Kyle-Eldridge; loved as grandchildren, Makenna Partin, Deakon Partin, and Kordell Partin; specially loved great-granddaughter, Ila Rose Hoskins-Saylor; uncle, Henry Pursifull; nieces and nephews, the late David Allen Wilson, the late John Wilson, Ricky Dale Eldridge, Melissa Bingham, Amber Hoxit, Brandon Osborne, Bobby Miracle, Jr., Josh Miracle, Dakota Fulton Gray, Hannah Gray, Makayla Wilson, April Elliott, Jessica Lefevers, Jerry Duane Hoskins, Benjamin Corey Hoskins, Sarah Ann Mason, and David Bruce Watkins; special friend Robert ‘Moose’ Mullins; and a host of relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. James Teaney and Bob Teaney presiding. Burial will follow at the Buell Cemetery in Page. Pallbearers will be Jacob Saylor, Thomas Saylor, Brandon Osborne, Ricky Dale Eldridge, Tim Pursifull, David Watkins, Thomas Neal Wilson, and Dale Eldridge. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert “Moose” Mullins, Tony Kyle, Robbie Partin, Deakon Partin, Kordell Partin, Dakota Gray, David Bruce Watkins, Duane Hoskins, Ben Hoskins, John Bingham, Josh Miracle, and Kenneth Redmond.
