Cordell Reed

Cordell Reed, 71 of Tazewell, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Fork Ridge, Tennessee on May 19, 1948 and was the son of Carl and Hester Mason Reed. Cordell was a Vietnam War Veteran having served his country in the United States Army and worked as a coal miner after coming back home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Reed and sister, Jewell Roberts.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Lee Etta Crowe of Tazewell; mother, Hester Reed of Tazewell; brother, Curtis Reed and wife Gwenda of Bean Station; sister, Vernie Wyatt of Tazewell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private cremation services are under the direction of Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate, which is honored to serve the Reed family.
