Conley Wilburn Jr

On the morning of March 29, 2016, Conley Wilburn, Jr. of Cumberland Gap, TN, went home to be with the Lord.

Junior was a member of Summey's Bridge Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Local 50 Mid-South Carpenters Union and worked as a skilled carpenter and welder. Junior was a true mountain man who loved to raccoon hunt and dig ginseng. He truly loved his children, family, and friends and will be greatly missed.

Junior was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Pearl Wilburn, of Cumberland Gap, TN.

Junior is survived by his son, Conley Trey Wilburn, daughter, Jennabeth Elyssa Wilburn, former wife, Kris Wilburn, father, Conley Wilburn, each of Cumberland Gap, TN, sister, Cassie Wilson, and brother-in-law, Mike Wilson, of Brandon, FL.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Aunt Evelena and Uncle Jim Connor of Jacksboro, TN, who extended tender-loving care to Junior for the last several months of his life.

Junior's funeral will be 3 PM Saturday, April 2, at Reece Funeral Home with Johnny Brown and Cecil Johnson officiating. Music by Debbie & Steve Gulley. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 PM. Interment will follow at Chumley's Cemetery. Pallbearers: Kevin Connor, Randell Goins, Tracy McGarvie, Caleb Partin, Ross Shirk, Kelly Struble.
