Clyde Rice, 67, of Arjay, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Rella, KY on October 30, 1940 the son of the late Tilmon and Hattie Napier Rice. He believed in the Pentecostal Faith and had been a coal miner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandchildren, Austin and Hunter Rice, brothers and sisters, Doris Tindall, Claude, Carl, Herman, Christine and Diane Rice. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Glenna Rice, children, Hope Rice, Teresa Rice and Clyde Rice, Jr., all of Arjay, and Hattie Rice and Kenny Brock of Middlesboro; grandchildren, Michael Cox, Kayla Cox, Shaylynn Rice, Hallie Rice and Kendra Brock; brothers and sisters and their spouses, Homer and Irene Rice of Cincinnati, David and Mary Rice of Calvin, James and Judy Rice of Kettle Island, Tilmon, Jr. and Eva Rice of Tinsley, Edna Pegg of Ft. Wayne, Lois and Delbert Sanders of Ft. Wayne, Faye and Jack Cornett of Pineville and Carolyn and Tommy Murphy of Harrogate; brother-in-law, Jerry Tindall of Ft. Wayne, sister-in-law, Letha Rice of Lexington and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
