Clevia Patterson

Clevia Madon Patterson age 90 of Cumberland Gap, TN, went to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Feb 2, 2016. Born Oct. 14, 1925 to the late Charlie & Luretta Madon. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years- Wade Patterson, brothers- Carl & Lawrence, sisters- Pearl Evans, Shirley Treece, De Ester Medley, grandson- John Scott Patterson & Gary White. She was a long time member of Red Hill Baptist Church for 66 years. She loved to garden and plant flowers and she worked for Claiborne County school system until she retired.

She is survived by her loving son- Johnny Patterson & wife Gwen of Speedwell, precious grandchildren- Stephanie Brown and husband Brandon of Lubbock, TX, Tammy White Raby & husband Terry Raby of Knoxville, adorable great-grandchildren- Marlie Patterson, Claire, Baylor, Campbell Brown, several nieces & nephews, many close friends, her Sunday school class and church family.

Funeral service 8 PM Thursday Feb 4 at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel with Rev. James Taylor & Rev. Gary Mundy officiating. Music provided by David Evans & the Red Hill Choir. Burial 11 AM Friday in the Red Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers: Neal Medley, David Evans, Jimmy Madon, Rex Madon, Darin Sandifer, Charles Treece, Guy Evans, Danny Madon. Honorary pallbearers: Eddie Treece, Shelby Treece, Hal Dean Treece, Jimmy Welch, Pat Welch, Leon Treece, Ronnie Brown, David Russell, Lowell Evans, Lynn Treece, David Madon.
