Cleston Miracle

Cleston Miracle, 93, of Kettle Island, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Pineville Community Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born in Cubbage, KY on August 16, 1921, a son of the late Justice Otis and Almedia Cox Miracle. He had believed in the Baptist Faith and had been a coal miner. Cleston served as a US Army Ranger during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Pauline Bailey Miracle, brothers, Hillary David Miracle, Kendal Miracle, John Bratcher Miracle and Cleon Miracle. Survivors include his son, Gary D. Miracle and wife, Kathy; daughter, Connie Lynn Catron and husband, Dave; grandchildren, David, Brandon, Kayla, Michelle and Shane; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Cayden, Sam, Savannah and Samantha; brothers and sister, Arlus Payton and Dorothy Miracle, Argene and Pat Miracle and Charlene and Dwight Dean; and a host of nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives. A special thank you to the Staff of Pineville Skilled Nursing Care for your excellent care. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Stepp. Music will be by Kathy Brock. Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be David Miracle, Brandon Banks, Shane Catron, Greg Dean, Ron Miracle and Bill McGaffee. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Turpin, John Turpin, Sam Watts and Dwight Dean.
