Claudie Saylor

Claudie Saylor,91, of Bledsoe, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Cowfork, KY on Mach 6,1927 a son of the late, Henry and Sarah Brock Saylor. He believed in the Pentecostal Faith and had been a custodian. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Hubbard Saylor, daughter-in-law, Loretta (Teddy) Saylor; grandson, Christopher 'Shortie' Morgan, brothers, A.D., Lee, John Henry, Kayle and Wilkie; sisters, Iva, Fannie and Carrie and half-brother, Granny's John. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Christine and Cleopas 'Bud' Morgan, Sparta, KY, Bobby and Nancy Saylor, Sparta, KY, A.D. Saylor, Bledsoe,KY, Della and David Lawson, Tazewell, TN, Lola and David Brock, Ewing, VA, Darlene and Harold Collins, Cumberland Gap, TN, Stanley and Gayle Saylor, Columbia, TN, Emanuel and Margaret 'Sue' Saylor, Bledsoe, KY, Dorothy and Earnie Helton, Kettle Island, KY and Darryl and Goldie Saylor, Bledsoe; special thanks to brother, Denver Saylor of Bledsoe, KY; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday at the Jenson Pentecostal Church with Rev. Richard Asher, Rev, Harold Collins and Rev. Kenneth Saylor. Music will be by church family. Burial will be in the Saylor Garden Cemetery at Bledsoe. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday after 6:00 PM and all day Wednesday and Thursday until the funeral hour at the Jenson Pentecostal Church.
