Clark Jones

Imogene Clark Jones, 82 of Pineville passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Morgantown, Kentucky on February 4, 1926, a daughter of the late Joseph Bennett and Ina Wingfield Clark. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church of Fourmile and had been a member of First Baptist Church of Pineville for many years. She was an alumnus of Owensboro High School and Campbellsville College. Imogene was a devoted and loving ministers? wife, mother and homemaker who had also been a substitute teacher and had worked for the American Red Cross during World War II. She had also been a Sunday school teacher at First Baptist and Riverside Baptist, was very active with WMU and had served on several school related associations. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Dr. Charles F. Jones, brother, William O. Clark, sisters, Pauline C. McKinney, Bernice C. Eaton and Joyce C. Stiltner. Survivors include her sons, Charles Alan Jones and wife, Jeri of Pineville, Danny Jones and wife, Brenda of Corbin, John Jones and wife, Karen of Pineville; grandchildren, Adam Jones and wife, Nikki, Katherine Jones, Clark Jones and wife, Katie, Anna Beth Jones and fiancée, Todd Dye, Emily Campbell and husband, Mark, Ashley Jones, Kara Jones and Megan Jones; great-grandchild, Halee Grace Jones; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
