Clarence E. Sparks Jr.

Clarence E. Sparks, Jr., 64, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at his home. He was born in Middlesboro on September 8, 1950 a son of the late Clarence E. and Matilda Braden Sparks. He was a member of Bradens Chapel Church in Speedwell and had been a Furniture Sales Representative. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Ruth Broughton Sparks; children and their spouses, Travis and Jamie Sparks; Melody (Sparks) and Sam Bryant; Katheryn Ruth and Eddie Reed and Robert W. 'Bobby' and Melissa Slusher; grandchildren, Chad and Addison Sparks; Chase and Paige Bryant; Jorden Hill; Staci Sigler; Chelsea Slusher, Shelby and Robert Paul Slusher; Kaitlyn and Hudson Reed; great-grandchild, Lydia Sigler; brothers and sisters, Joyce L. Frazier; Deloris and Steve Hurst; Janice and Rick Lawson and Sondra and Claude Nunn; brothers and sisters-in-law; Garrett, Jr. and Dreama Broughton and Shirley and Eddie Smith; and a host of special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Trinity Family Heath and Dr. Morgan for all their tender care and support through the years. Services will be at 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Travis Sparks. Burial will at 10:00 AM Thursday at the Sparks Cemetery, Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be Chase Bryant, Sam Bryant, Timothy Smith, Eddie Reed, Travis Smith, Don Slusher, Scott Hurst, Randall Slusher and Jeff Frazier. The family will receive friends from 5 until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Sparks Family.
