Clara Jean Rogers

Clara Jean Rogers, 79 of Mackville, formerly of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, August 17,2022, surrounded by family. She was born in Pineville on December 6, 1942, a daughter of the late Clifton and Sabria Jackson Rogers. Clara was a member of the Old Fourmile Church and had been a homemaker and caretaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, AB Rogers; brother and sister-in-law, James and Hazel Rogers; sister-in-law, June Mills; and nephew, Timothy Rogers. Clara is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Gerald Wayne Goodlett, II; grandson, Gerald William Goodlett; brother and sister-in-law, Layvon and Kim Rogers; sister-in-law, Brenda Rogers; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Grubbs presiding. Music will be provided by Rachel Grubbs and Bethany Liford. Burial will follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be Gabriel Shipp, Michael Liford, Mike Taylor, Dale Dobbins, Clifton Rogers, and Josh Williams. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Rogers Family.
