Christopher Bruce Thompson

Christopher Bruce Thompson, 44 of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the Pineville Community Health Care in Pineville. He was born on January 20, 1977 in Pineville, a son of Paula Slusher Downey and the late Bruce Thompson. Chris served his country in the United States Army. He had been a Lifeline Sales Representative. Chris was a loving son, husband, father, brother and uncle. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Cindy Sue Bingham Thompson; daughters, Ashley Mackenzie Thompson, Paulina Alexis Thompson and Kirsten Abigail Thompson; mother and stepfather, Paula and Mike Downey; sister and brother-in-law, Melanie and Kelton Adams; nieces and nephews, Sarah, Ashlyn and Marcus Adams and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. James Polly presiding. Burial will follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be George Lambert, Russell Napier, Doug Shepherd, Jason Golden, Kelton Adams, Jimmy Goodin, Tracy Napier and Abraham Slusher. Honorary Pallbearer will be Dr. Mohan. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the family of Christopher Thompson.
