Christopher Laprade

Christopher LaPrade, 49 of Tazewell, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell. He was born in Webster, Massachusetts on September 9, 1974, a son of Arthur F. LaPrade and Mary Putnam Bougilette. Christopher had the biggest heart and loved his girls and grandbabies. He was funny and witty, and loved Nascar. Christopher loved his wife dearly; she was his world.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur F. LaPrade; father, Robert Bougilette; grandfather, Robert Edward Putnam; and uncles, John Putnam and Arty Putnam.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Patricia Nida LaPrade; daughters, Chelsea Southern and husband, Adam, Christin LaPrade, and Carlie LaPrade; grandchildren, Charlie Southern and Paisley Southern; twin brother, Carlton LaPrade, whom he loved very much; and a host of other brothers, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church in Tazewell with Rev. Jim Seals presiding. Music will be provided by Angela Thornberry and family.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Fairview Baptist Church in Tazewell.
