Christine Mckinney Wilder

Christine McKinney Wilder, 92, of Memphis, TN formerly of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Memphis. She was born on August 31, 1921 in Pineville, KY a daughter of the late Galen A. and Hassie Bingham McKinney. She attended Pineville High School and had worked for the Southern Bell in Pineville and retired from the National Cotton Council. Christine was a loving wife to Ray Wilder, Sr. for 76 years and he also is from Pineville. She was a devoted Christian, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was loved by all her family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved sister, Edna Wilder (who was the mother of Wanda and Ronnie Wilder, of Pineville) and her younger brother, Avil L. McKinney (father of Len and Barbara McKinney). Christine is survived by her loving husband, Ray Wilder; sons, Ray Wilder, Jr. and Randall Wilder; grandchildren, Ashley Wilder, Ryan Wilder, Kristen Wilder and Brock Vandorn; great-grandchildren, Cayson Meadows, Beckett Meadows; Haven Wilder, Ashley Vandorn and Alicia Vandorn and several brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Pineville Memorial Cemetery with Mr. Jay Steele and the Mountain Heirs will provide music for the service. Burial will follow the services.
