Christine Mills Walters

Christine Mills Walters, 86, of Pineville and Harrogate, passed away on October 31, 2018 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville. She was born in Pineville on November 4, 1931 a daughter of the late Sie and Pearl Hertig Mills. She was a member of West Pineville Baptist Church,, where she had been a Sunday School teacher for many years. Christine had worked in Sales in many positions throughout the years. She was a member of Middlesboro Homemaker's Club and loved attending the Pineville Senior Citizens Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Eugene Walters and her brother, Sie Mills, Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Walters Wilson and husband, Donnie of Pineville and Lisa Walters Dooley and husband, Don of Harrogate; grandchildren, Dr. Kimberly Miracle of Louisville, Kelley Miracle of Louisville, Daniel and Justine Sharpe of Cincinnati, Jenna Sharpe Brooks of Tazewell and Alison Lundquist of Tazewell; great-grandson, Carson Brooks of Tazewell and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be on Sunday at 3:00 PM at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Sledge. Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be Daniel Sharpe, Honsel Biliter, Bruce Nunn, Bob Hendrickson, Norman Miller and Joe Ward. The Family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Walters Family.
