Christine Nickels

Christine Nickels, 60, of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2008 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Barbourville on December 12, 1947, a daughter of the late Harold and Daisy Gray Partin. She was a member of Wasioto Baptist Church and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jim Nickels, Troy Burke (mamie and mom) and Ivan Burke, sister, Patricia Cox, grandson, Tyler Nickels and niece, Alicia Goodin. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Floyd Nickels, children, Russell Nickels and wife, Sharon of Pineville, Tim Partin and wife, Tina of Pineville, Michelle Warren and husband, Cliff of Cumberland Gap, TN and Michael Nickels of Pineville; grandchildren, Matthew Warren, Kimberly Warren, Danielle Nickels, Austin Nickels and Lachelle Partin; sisters and brothers, Opal Goodin and husband, Kinley of Pineville, Carolyn Miracle of Miracle; Louise Erwin and husband, Paul of Pineville, Ken Partin of Pineville, brother-in-law, James Miracle of Miracle; special cousins and friends, Belinda Cox, Keith Cox (Doll Baby); Lenice Cox (Gun); Tonya Cox (Sissy), Faye Cox (Cookie), Dave Cox, Jay Cox, Gwen Evans and family, Rosie Baker and family and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
