Christine Brock of Ewing, VA, went to her eternal home at the age of 89 at the Middlesboro ARH. She was surrounded by loved ones who she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Elmer Brock; two daughters, Willene Brock and Gearldine Nolan Whitehead; a grandson, Homer Gregory Brock; sisters, Goldie, Teenie and Leoma; brothers, Johnny, Silas, Charles, Elmer, Colson and Lloyd. Her survivors include her children, Homer (Carolyn) Brock, David (Lola) Brock and Rita (Rev. Ronnie) Hoskins; grandchildren, April and Tim Lankford, Ben Nolan, Cheyenne and Alicia Brock, Bill and Debbie Nolan, Tawana and Nathan Frye, Kristie and BJ Guthrie and Dawn Holland; twenty-one great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul (Marlene) Napier, Reed (Carol) Napier, Robert (Betty Joe) Napier and sister-in-law, Bertha Napier and special friends, Alice Saylor and Chesney Brock and a host of other friends and family. The family wishes to thank the staff at Middlesboro ARH and caregivers, Darlene Collins, Brenda Swain and Della Lawson for the care they provided in this time of need. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Saylor Pentecostal Church at Crockett with Rev. Ronnie Hoskins, Rev. Richard Asher and Rev. Ben Mosley. The Church Family will provide music for the services. Burial will follow in the Brummett Cemetery at Sims Fork with grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, then we will move to Saylor Pentecostal Church for visitation to begin at 10:00 and all day Monday until the funeral hour on Tuesday.
