Rodney 'Chase' Hall, age 27, of Speedwell, was born July 27, 1983 and went to be with his Lord March 21, 2011. He passed at his home after a long illness. Chase was a faithful member of Carr's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Raymond Hall. Chase graduated Powell Valley High School in 2001and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Lincoln Memorial University in 2006.

He is survived by his parents, Rodney and Karen Hall; brother, Chad (& Mindy) Hall; grandparents, Virginia Hall, Scott & Helen Holloway, special nephew, Wyatt Hall and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Reece Valley Chapel with Tom Cloud and Rev. Jim Yeary officiating. Music by Jim Yeary and Brian Giles. Graveside 10:00 a.m. Friday at Ausmus Cemetery.
