Charlotte Upton

Charlotte Lawson Upton, 48, of Miracle, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at her home. She was born in Dayton, OH on February 24, 1963, a daughter of Pauline Patterson Lawson and the late Curtis Lawson, Sr. She believed in the Baptist Faith and had been a homemaker. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Henry Lawson, nephew, Timothy Lawson, niece, Michelle Rice and grandmother, Vernie Patterson. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Ralph Upton; daughters and their spouses, Ruby and Randy Miracle, Alice and Arnold Dozier, Pauline Upton and Harold Wilder and Melinda Hopson; twelve grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Curtis Lawson, Jr., Clayton Lawson, Farmer Lawson, Carol Rice, Cheryl Jackson and Linda Layne and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
