Charlotte G. Chaffin Mccarty

Charlotte G. McCarty, 96, of Speedwell, TN formerly from Pineville passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at her home with her family around her. She was born in Balkan, KY on July 30, 1927, the daughter of Brownie “BV” and Bertha Siler Chaffin. She was a member of First Christian Church, Pineville. Charlotte was a businesswoman and worked in many different positions, including working with her husband, Bill, at McCarty’s Farm and Hardware Supply.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 68 years Bill Dale McCarty.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Steve and Gina McCarty and Dale and Teresa McCarty; grandchildren and their spouses, Sean and Heather McCarty, Patrick McCarty, Leah Johnston, Rachel and Becca Dixon, and Alex and Sarah Dixon; great-grandson, Brayden Johnston; caregiver, Vickie Cosby; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private services will be at a later date.
