Charlie Baker, 67 of Laurel Branch Stinking Creek, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011 at his home. He was born in Field, KY on April 9, 1944 a son of the late Boad and Nannie Roop Baker. He was a member of the Walker Baptist Church and had been a strip Miner, Carpenter and Farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by family members, Guy Carpenter, William Melvin ?Bill? Baker, Pauline Warren, Ruby Goodin, Elsie Bailey and Agnes Alons. Survivors include his wife, Judith Jerree Napier Baker; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Dale Smith; son, James Grant Baker and special friend, Sabrina Spicer; grandchildren, Jared Grant Baker, Shelby Elizabeth Baker and Holly Noel Baker; step-grandchildren, Marcia Mills and Tiffany Smith; other grandchild, Amber Mills; great-great-grandchildren, Michelle Roark, Hannah and Kelsey Osborne; brothers and sisters, Thelma Webb, Lucy Baker, James and Willa Jean Baker; dear brother-in-law, Boyd Goodin; special friends, Billy Ray Taylor, Danny Gray, Melanie Chesnut and Denver Brown; thirty nieces and nephews, seventy-six great-nieces and nephews, thirty-three great-great-nieces and nephews and many dear friends to mourn his passing.
