Charles Anthony Jones

Charles Anthony Jones (Babyfat) age 53 of Pineville, Kentucky, sadly and unexpectedly passed away at his home on Sunday, November 27, 2022. He was born on April 19, 1969, in Bell County, Kentucky and was the son of the late Imogene Washam Jones and Monroe Jones Jr,. Charles enjoyed deer hunting, turkey hunting, and was a diehard Kentucky Wildcat fan. He lit up any room he walked into and was always cracking jokes and making people smile.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lisa Ann Jones; his beloved brother, Proctor Monroe Jones; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Maxine Gambrel Lingar; and brothers-in-law, Joseph E. Ward and Ronald Perry Lingar.

Charles is survived by his two sons, Alex (Colby Rule) Jones and Derek (Jessica Frederick) Jones; grandson, Colton Wagers; former wife and very special friend, Peggy Jones; two sisters, Mary (Paul) Brock and Juanita (Jason) Jones-Walker; brothers and sisters-in-law Phillis Jones, Tina (Tim) Partin, Janet (Frank) Dell, and Mini Jean (Ronnie) Smith; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Heck and Rev. Arthur Jackson presiding. He will be laid to rest at the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Allen Lingar, Donald Lingar, Joe Ward, Jesse Rap, Jason Walker, Samson Churchwell and Darrell Haley.
