Charles Eugene Howard

Charles 'Chig' Eugene Howard, age 69, of Pathfork, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013 at his home. He was born in Pathfork, Kentucky, on January 22, 1944, a son of the late Johnny and Myrtle Earles Howard. He was a member of the Blackstar Pentecostal Church and had been a coal miner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Louise Howard, and his brothers and sisters; Violet Howard, Fanny Haley, Rusaw Howard,Minarae Howard, Irene Howard, Ollie Howard, Kathleen Miracle, Paul Collett, and Robert Collett and brother-in-law, Thurman Daniel. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Gearldine Wilson Howard; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Rev. Bill Engle Jr.; two granddaughters, Hannah Engle and Rachel Engle; beloved pets, Baby and Lucky Engle; brother, Josh and Myra Howard; sisters, Minnia and Buddy Saylor, Mae Daniel and Lorena Hobbs; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
