Charles B. "Pap" Griffin

Charles B. "Pap" Griffin, 81, of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at St. Joseph London Healthcare. He was born in Clay County, KY on March 27, 1938 a son of the late Joe and Florence Smith Griffin. Charles believed in the Christian Faith and had been a brick mason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary "Did" Mason Griffin and an infant son, Arthur Griffin. Survivors include his sons and their wives, Charles Ed and Edith Griffin, James and Terri Griffin, Rick and Josie Griffin and Ronnie and Paula Griffin; grandchildren, Charlie Griffin, Sandy Griffin Hoskins, Christopher Griffin, Heather Griffin, Michelle Griffin, Stephen Griffin, Justin Griffin and Dawson Griffin; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and a host of friends. Graveside Services will be on Tuesday, February 25, at 2:00 PM at Hickory Flats Cemetery, Dorton Branch with Rev. Arthur Jackson. Pallbearers will be Charlie Griffin, Budd Tigue, Caleb Partin, Christopher Griffin, Steven Griffin, Justin Griffin and Jacob Griffin. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 25 from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Griffin Family.
