Chanie Caldwell, 69, of Arjay, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Pineville Community Hospital. She was born March 25, 1945 a daughter of the late Jim and Crettie Cox. She believed in the Pentecostal Holiness Faith and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers; Hobert Cox; Johnny Cox; Lee Cox; Birchel Cox and Noble Ballou. Left to morn her passing her husband of 53 years, James Caldwell; sons, Hubert and Mary Caldwell; Herb Caldwell; granddaughter, Allison Caldwell; step-grandsons, Jake Lawson and Scott Lawson; sisters, Minnie and Mike Sinsabaugh; Sara and Ed Fuson; Rose Hoskins; brothers, Paul Cox; Hubert and Marcella Cox; Jerry Cox;, Larry Cox; Walter and Shirley Ballou; uncle, Calvin Cox and a host of nieces, nephews , other family and friends. Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, July 27, at Saylor Pentecostal Holiness Church at Crockett, with Rev. Ronnie Hoskins, Rev. Joe Caldwell, Jr. and Rev. Jordan Lee Saylor. Music will by the church family. Burial will be in the Brummett Cemetery, at Sims Fork, KY. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center and after 8:00 PM at the Saylor Pentecostal Holiness Church at Crockett.
